Santol/ Cotton fruit is a fleshy fruit that is round or flattened ball-shaped, yellow or brownish, and 5-8 cm across. The thin or thick rind has a wrinkled, softly hairy surface and contains milky juice. The white, juicy pulp surrounding the seeds (known as arils) may be sour to sweet.
